Omniprobe

The 14-hole Omniprobe from Vectoflow enables measurement of flow angles ranging up to ±160°. Similar to all other multi-hole probes by Vectoflow, the Omniprobe is capable of measuring the following flow parameters:

  • angle of attack
  • speed
  • static and total pressure
  • and other aerodynamic and thermodynamic quantities

Product Details

This probe was specially developed for measuring tasks where the angle of flow is unknown or even backflow is to be expected. Like all Vectoflow probes, the 14-hole probe is manufactured using our special additive manufacturing process, which allows high geometric flexibility while increasing mechanical integrity. The possible head shapes are:

  • straight and
  • L-shaped.

In addition to our multi-hole probes, Vectoflow also provides corresponding pressure measurement technology for data acquisition and analysis either on your computer or through our VectoDAQ system, which integrates data acquisition and analysis in a single device.

In addition to the multi-hole probes, Vectoflow also offers pressure measurement technology for data acquisition and evaluation on the PC or directly with Vectoflow's own VectoDAQ, which combines data acquisition and evaluation in one device.

The probes are calibrated in Vectoflow's own calibration wind tunnels and are coming along with the raw calibration data as well as a binary file that can be used to evaluate the measurement data with our post-processing libraries (free of charge when ordering a calibration) or the VectoVis Pro software.
