With our Vectoflow cooler probes, we offer a simple way to equip a cooler with probes to measure the total mass flow and mass flow distribution through a cooler.
The cooler probe measures the total pressure and at the same time the static pressure of the flow. Multiple probes distributed throughout a cooler can measure the partial mass flow through the designated section of the cooler, thereby determining flow uniformity.
The probe is easy to install and is placed exactly in front of the cooling fins. This minimizes the blocking created by the probes. In this way, the probes can be easily removed and reused without damaging the cooler.
The probes are manufactured using our innovative additive manufacturing method and allow great flexibility in terms of design and size. This means that the probe design can be adapted to individual requirements. We recommend calibrating the probes in relation to the mass flow mounted on the cooler.
