The Omni-iProbe from Vectoflow is a compact and lightweight plug & play system for measuring flow velocities and angles for mobile or wind tunnel applications. By combining a 14-hole probe with a data acquisition system, the effort required to determine flow measurements is reduced to a minimum!
The Omni-iProbe combines Vectoflow's 14-hole Omniprobe head with an integrated data acquisition system. The compact and lightweight housing houses 14 differential pressure sensors with measuring ranges that can be customized to customer requirements.
The Omni-iProbe is a plug and play solution that simultaneously measures pressure and temperature signals and provides flow parameters such as angle of attack and velocity in real time. The 14-hole head is particularly useful in cases where the angle of attack is unknown or backflow is expected. The system can measure flow angles of up to ± 160°. The data acquisition rate is up to 50 Hz. The data can be transferred via a simple serial protocol and USB or via CAN.
