The Air Data Boom is designed for mobile applications such as drones or cars to measure flow velocities and temperatures even in harsh environments.
The Air Data Boom from Vectoflow has a 5-hole probe head for measuring, for example, flow velocity, angle of attack and glide angle in a range of up to ±60°. In addition, the Air Data Boom can be equipped with a TAT head (total air temperature) and an integrated heating element.
The Air Data Boom is typically used in airplanes and drones, but also in cars and wind turbines. Like all Vectoflow probes, the tip of the Air Data Boom is also manufactured additively. This means that the length can be flexibly adapted to the respective application. Complex leak tests and further quality tests before delivery ensure a long service life of the system.
